ReplyDeleteWhat I like to do is make my own little chocolates out of unwanted Easter eggs (we're always given too many). Melt them down and then pour the chocolate into funny shaped ice cube trays. Extremely simple but people seem to like it
ReplyDeleteFor me it has to be Hot Cross Bun. When I was growing up we were only allowed to eat them on the Easter Sunday. Now I'm a big girl I start guzzling them as soon as they come out in the shops. My husband doesn't like them which is good news for us!

Simnel Cake - love the decoration, the taste and the celebration!
ReplyDeleteI spend part of the year in Greece and Easter is the biggest celebration in the Greek Orthodox religion. After 40 days of fasting during Lent a great feast is traditionally prepared on Easter Sunday with the main course being lamb roasted on a spit so that is what I love foodwise about Easter, lovely lamb flavoured with garlic, rosemary and oregano.
ReplyDeleteChocolate crispy cakes with mini eggs. Love making them with my Mum :-)
