Frugal Food Fridays

I am in awe of foodie blogger extraordinaire Helen from Fuss Free Flavours she is amazing! I am therefore very excited and honored because she has let me host Frugal Food Fridays this month.

So what's it all about? Well, Frugal Food Fridays are all about saving some money whilst still enjoying great food.  Check out the March Roundup here to see the delicious recipe and ideas bloggers came up with.

To take part all you have to do is blog about a food related money saving idea and add your post to the round up Linky. How easy is that?!

Here are some ideas for money saving blog post topics:

Low cost school holiday meal or snack ideas

Recipe ideas for tasty and frugal packed lunches or picnics

Meals using leftovers creatively

Meals using up odds and ends from packets of ingredients lurking in your storecupboard

Recipes using food you have grown yourself or made from reduced food in the supermarket

There are a few simple rules to follow though, and here they are:

Please link to Helen's Frugal Food Fridays page

Please link to the current host (Me!)

Please email me and let me know you have entered

Please use the Frugal Food Fridays Badge

Tweet using #frugalfoodfriday

Feel free to:

Send to as many other events as you like, let’s help everyone save money!

Blog frugal food any day of the week! Not just Fridays!

Tell me about your money saving ideas on the linky below! It's also a blog hop so feel free to grab the code and add it to your post too. Let’s spread the money saving meme!

If you would like to host Frugal Food Fridays please email Helen at fussfreeflavours dot com.

Closing date is April 30th and I shall post a roundup soon after that.

  1. Hmm I am going to have to read more on what is a blog hop and I might contribute something about frugal buying of pet food as my blogs are on pets, exotic pets, and farm critters. But in the mean time I will thoroughly enjoy following along on your blog and blog hop for excellent frugal tips in regards to food. The only one I can think of now is keeping your own hens for eggs.
Saving bits of cash here and there is a great way to accumulate wealth if a person knows what they are going.
    Fantastic blog.

    2. It is probably my laptop. I quite often find it impossible to use the clickable email links.
I have another nettle recipe on my blog, so might add this one as well.
