Meal Plans and Budgeting

I'm all for saving a few pennies.  For many people grocery bills are one of the few major expenses over which they have total control.  To help with budgeting, and to save money, I regularly Meal Plan.  I've put links to my most popular Meal Plans below, along with links to a few other useful money saving/budgeting blog posts from my blog.

There are also loads of fab money saving ideas in the Thrifty Families Blogging Carnival which is a collaboration between Becky from Baby Budgeting, Jen from The Madhouse and Cass from Frugal Family.  Pop over and check them out.

Meal Plans

The Meal Plans on my blog do not include drinks, condiments or the cost of some herbs and spices.  I make our jams, chutneys and pasta sauces, and we grow our own fresh herbs and salad greens.  The total price given for the Meal Plan was the cost of the items needed on the date of my grocery shop.  Prices will fluctuate and the cost of the items is bound to change, the prices on the Shopping Lists are indicative only.

I’m also not a nutritionist or dietician so you will need to consult a professional if you have specific dietary needs or require a calorie controlled dietary plan.

If you've blogged about Meal Plans or have budgeting/money saving tips, please comment and let me know.  I'm sure we can all help each other to save a few pennies, and our sanity as well,  by sharing tips and Meal Plans.
